Theoretical astrophysics research and graduate study is carried out in two sub-departments of Oxford Physics: in this group, which is a part of the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics, and in the sub-department of Astrophysics. In plasma physics there are links to other departments through the Oxford Plasma Theory Group, and to the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy.
