I did my PhD in the Theoretical Astrophysics group at the University of Leicester
supervised by Walter Dehnen. I also spent time
working with Lia Athanassoula in Marseille.
After finishing my thesis in 2006 I came to Oxford, where I am a PDRA in the sub-department of Theoretical Physics, working with Prof James Binney
Interests
- During my time in Leicester, my research was focused on N-body modelling, with a particular interest in the "cusps"
of CDM haloes. I now work on the Oxford Torus model
(e.g. Modeling the Galaxy for Gaia), and its application
to modelling the Milky Way.
