This 8-lecture course will cover three disparate but important topics which are not usually covered in more introductory courses:
Prerequisites are an introductory graduate course in statistical mechanics, for example that given this term by Professor D Logan.
Lectures will take place on Thursdays 12-1 in the Fisher Room, and Fridays 11-12 in the Denis Sciama Lecture Theatre, beginning in Week 5 (Thursday November 8.)
