Raoul Röntsch

Hi! My name is Raoul Röntsch, and I am a third-year D.Phil. student in particle theory. I am supervised by Giulia Zanderighi, and my work involves calculating next-to-leading order QCD corrections for hadron collider phenomenology. I work with Tom Melia, a fellow graduate student, and Kirill Melnikov of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa. I completed a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Theoretical Physics at the University of Cape Town in 2006, and an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics in 2008. My M.Sc. involved calculating the light quark masses using finite energy QCD sum rules, and was supervised by Cesareo Dominguez.

I am funded by a Rhodes Scholarship and am a member of Corpus Christi College .
