The Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics (SMTG) group aims to promote the interests of scientists working in the broad fields of statistical mechanics, thermodynamics and associated disciplinesActivities include the organisation and sponsorship of conferences and the provision of conference bursaries to students. We also award the Lennard Jones Lectureship, currently funded by Unilever Research
