Titus-Bode Law

The Titus-Bode Law is a simple law that predicts the distances of the planets from the sun. It was spotted from the known distances of the main planets, and it predicts that there should be a planet between Mars and Jupiter. This planet does not exist, but instead there is a belt of asteroids that circles where the planet should be.
