There is some disagreement as to whether one should define "Fermi Level" (or fermi "Energy") at finite temperature or not. If it is defined then it is exactly the same as chemical potential. But that makes me question why we have two words for the same thing. Many books (as we did) define Fermi energy only at T=0 and reserve chemical potential for finite T.
