Why do we actually have to treat antiferromagnetism in the mean field theory as a unit cell with two different atoms with spins A and B in it?
I mean by simply setting J negative we would obtain the same final result and save time.
I feel like the introduction of A and B is slightly artificial to me. Could you explain me why they are necessary?
Thank you!
