In the book It Is Written: "You may wonder why in this equation we obtained lambda on the RHS rather than lambda ... if there is a reciprocal lattice vector G then there is also a lattice vector nG ... with that lattice vector we would get nlambda ... in [this] case we are reflecting off of the spacing nd which necessarily also exists when there is a set of lattice planes with spacing d" (emphasis added).
But isn't there a maximal possible spacing 2pi/|G_min|? And anyway, isn't it necessarily the case that if there is a spacing d, there're spacings d/n?
