Hi,
I am having a bit of trouble conceptualising the itinerant ferromagnet. I know this is a bit general but, briefly, what is it? When we use mean field theory to solve for the Hamiltonian with nearest neighbour interaction and maximum anisotropy (the Ising model, if I'm correct), are we treating an itinerant ferromagnet, where we can only speak of a spin expectation value and not of local spins? Also, an itinerant ferromagnet has no domains, right?
