I might try to answer this. The electrons are not really at this temperature --- they have energy equal to 80000 K, but this is not a temperature. Analogy: an electron has rest mass-energy of .5 MeV Converted to temperature it is probably millions of K. This is its energy, not temperature. The electron at rest is not hot.
