I am an astrophysicist in the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics.
Research
My research focuses on understanding the structure, dynamics and evolution of galaxies. I have a long-standing interest in weighing supermassive black holes and modelling their effects on their host galaxies. More recently my emphasis has shifted towards understanding our own galaxy, the Milky Way.
I also have a more “official” web page page that includes recent publications and group members.
