01865 273 980. This term is primarily dedicated to revision and preparation for exams. The most straightforward way to prepare is to do a lot of past papers --- and use those as cue for revising the material. I will try to help you by going through some (bits of) exam papers in class and also assigning two of them as your homeworks. I propose that you decide collectively which papers and which questions you want to see worked in class and which you would like me to mark (for CP4, please choose from amongst the June papers). This will also hopefully stimulate you to discuss your revision strategies between yourselves, which is a very good idea. If you want me to review in class (or discuss in tutes) any part of the course material, please also let me know. CP3/4: Half of the classes and tutorials will be given by Prof Christopher Ramsey. Please arrange your schedule with him directly. He will be helping you with CP3 papers, I with CP4 (although obviously you can ask any of us any questions that bother you at any given time). Vacation work (HT-7) is due to him upon your return to Oxford; there will be tutes on it in week 3. |
